AI-based cyber threat intelligence (CTI) specialist SANDS Lab (KOSDAQ 411080, CEO Kim Ki-hong) announced the successful conclusion of the SANDS Lab Community Meetup held on the 13th.
The meetup is a program designed to help partners grow by drawing on SANDS Lab’s growth momentum and developing active support measures. Instead of focusing on lectures for selected invitees like a typical corporate partner day, it emphasized listening to community members and identifying ways to support them.
Held at KSIGN’s Gwacheon office, where SANDS Lab is headquartered, the event welcomed representatives from more than 20 companies interested in its technology and products. Both existing and new partners attended, receiving an overview of SANDS Lab and opportunities for informal networking.
SANDS Lab openly shared even technical information that could be sensitive to disclose externally. It believed sustainable community development requires sharing all aspects, including development, and establishing a common understanding rather than merely promoting product selling points. Its developers therefore demonstrated products on site and explained their underlying technologies directly to help attendees understand them.
In his opening remarks, CEO Kim Ki-hong said, “The greatest force behind SANDS Lab’s growth over more than 20 years has been our deep determination. That determination enabled us to secure Asia’s largest volume of data and develop next-generation core technologies. Now, our technology can advance further only if we grow together with our community.”
He reaffirmed his commitment, saying, “We will bring the core values born from that determination to the community and spare no effort in helping our partners grow alongside us.”
Starting this year, SANDS Lab plans to distribute products and services demanded by the market primarily through partners, while focusing its internal efforts more heavily on research and development of AI-based technologies and products.
