AI-based cyber threat intelligence specialist SANDS Lab (KOSDAQ 411080, CEO Kim Ki-hong) announced on the 24th that its CTX intelligence platform and MNX NDR solution recently earned Grade 1 Good Software (GS) certification.
GS is a national quality certification for Korean software. It evaluates functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability, reliability and security against criteria aligned with international ISO standards, certifying products that meet the required quality level.
The Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR) tested and evaluated both AI-based cybersecurity products, CTX and MNX, awarding each the highest rating of Grade 1.
CTX combines SANDS Lab’s experience collecting Asia’s largest data volumes with its AI expertise. It provides diverse threat analysis, including maliciousness, associated groups, target countries and industries, and MITRE ATT&CK techniques, enabling analysts to establish proactive and effective defenses.
MNX acts as a proactive AI assistant, providing real-time network visibility and AI-based threat detection for rapid response. Its network black box function reveals detailed conditions at the time of a threat, enabling efficient management. AI insights support threat tracking, while email and social media notifications improve convenience.
SANDS Lab is also pursuing procurement registration for both products to expand public-sector adoption. Offering performance comparable to global products at reasonable cost, these Korean intelligence and network solutions are expected to strengthen sensitive public institutions’ response capabilities and proactive defenses.
