SANDS Lab exports 1,000 units of AI NDR 'MNX' to Japan — its first large-scale overseas revenue since founding

AI security firm SANDS Lab (KOSDAQ 411080, CEO Kim Ki-hong) announced it has signed a contract to export 1,000 units of its AI-based NDR (network detection and response) solution 'MNX' with local Japanese partner PIO Platform and has begun the first shipment.
This marks the company's first commercial export result where actual volume shipped, following the agreements and distribution contract it had pursued in stages this year to enter the Japanese market. With this, SANDS Lab has formally moved its Japan business beyond the technology and partnership-building stage into a phase of full-scale overseas revenue expansion.
After signing an agreement with Japanese companies in March this year to supply its AI-based NDR solution to the Japanese market, SANDS Lab worked with local partners to flesh out the business structure, then completed its distribution system through a distributor agreement. This supply contract now moves MNX into actual installation and operation at Japanese SMB customer sites.
The initial 1,000 units will be deployed sequentially to SMB customers through the Japanese partner's distribution network, representing an early-stage supply for full-scale rollout. SANDS Lab plans to follow with a second and third round of additional supply depending on local performance and demand growth, building a structural business model that gradually expands export volume with each round.
The project is also significant as a genuine commercial initiative shifting AI-based network security in the Japanese SMB market toward the cloud, beyond simply supplying a solution overseas. SANDS Lab plans to use this export as a reference point in Japan and a springboard for expanding its business across the global market.
