AI security specialist SANDS Lab (KOSDAQ 411080, CEO Kim Ki-hong) announced on the 24th that it had launched its personal information breach alert service IDPW (www.idpw.io) and entered into a partnership with Toss’s Apps in Toss.
IDPW provides detailed information about personal information breaches, including where a breach occurred and which device was involved. It monitors non-public distribution channels such as the dark web, Telegram and black markets around the clock to obtain the latest data. Unlike similar existing services that merely check past breaches, it immediately identifies recent incidents, helping prevent secondary and tertiary harm caused by leaked personal information.
SANDS Lab provides IDPW through Apps in Toss. This app-in-app service brings a variety of partner services into the Toss app, allowing users to experience trusted services in one place.
The partnership gives SANDS Lab access to Toss’s 29 million subscribers to promote service adoption. Toss users can instantly check whether their personal information has been leaked and receive real-time alerts when signs of a breach appear, all within the Toss app without a separate installation or registration.
A SANDS Lab representative said, “IDPW is a personal information breach alert service that anyone can use, as well as businesses. Starting with our Apps in Toss partnership, we will expand service partnerships so that more users can easily and quickly prevent harm from personal information breaches.”
