SANDS Lab and Logpresso join forces to develop AI-based XDR
AI-based cyber threat intelligence (CTI) specialist SANDS Lab announced on the 13th that it signed an MOU with cloud SIEM specialist Logpresso to develop next-generation AI-based extended detection and response (XDR).
The companies will develop a Korean XDR product intended to become a mainstay of the future cybersecurity market, integrating SANDS Lab’s AI threat detection with Logpresso’s SIEM/SOAR technology at the native XDR level.

Key areas of cooperation include a partnership for next-generation AI-based XDR development, ongoing technical exchanges and integration planning, and joint marketing to expand the XDR market.
SANDS Lab generates extensive attacker-focused analysis through its AI-based CTX cyber threat intelligence platform.
It analyzes attackers’ indicators of compromise (IoCs) using proprietary AI models and retains threat intelligence enriched with context.
In addition to using diverse AI models to assess maliciousness and detect threats, its threat profiling supports varied scenarios based on actual incidents, enabling the multidimensional data collection and advanced detection framework required for XDR.
Logpresso offers security operations solutions that integrate monitoring and response across a company’s entire IT infrastructure, including on-premises, cloud and SaaS environments, on a single platform.
Hundreds of third-party apps distributed through the Logpresso Store enable immediate integration with a wide range of security products, infrastructure and services. Its proprietary big data engine and storage technology also effectively address current challenges faced by security teams.
The companies are also jointly conducting KISA’s cybersecurity AI dataset construction and utilization enhancement project this year, validating their technologies’ performance and effectiveness.
CEO Kim Ki-hong said, “We share the view that XDR will define the future cybersecurity market. Building on Logpresso’s distinctive platform and continued technical exchanges, we will strive to create a product that truly reflects market needs and responds effectively to future cybersecurity environments.”
Logpresso CEO Yang Bong-yeol said, “We confirmed that XDR provides the common ground on which our innovative technologies can create the greatest synergy. Combining them with SANDS Lab’s cybersecurity-specific AI, we will introduce a next-generation security platform that represents the future market.”
